day job #1
$15.00 AUD Sold out
This little book/zine is called ‘day job’ because a lot of these artists maintain fascinating professional careers while producing incredible artistic work. Personally, I feel like it is easy to confine myself to the single definition of town planner, but there’s a lot more to me than that.
I am concerned that it is too easy for my friends with diverse talents to not acknowledge their outside interests and artistic work as being as valid as their professional career (and vice-versa). Professional and artistic careers are not exclusive and this is not widely acknowledged enough. Either way, the purpose of this little book is to show some of the remarkable work that some Brisbane mates are doing and allow you the opportunity to appreciate it, as it deserves to be seen.
Artists included: Al Bowler, Rae Choi, Elli Webb, Graham Bligh and Grace Cuell
All profits go to Lifeline because they do super important work.
Big thanks to everyone involved, to these mates for their creativity and for letting me be so embarrassingly proud of you that I made a book about it.
